Journal and scope

Quantum Information & Computation is published by Cerebration Science Publishing Co., Limited. These terms cover manuscript submission, publication services, article processing charges and use of this website.

The service for an accepted manuscript includes preparation for open-access publication, typesetting, proofreading and online publication. The publishing agreement and applicable journal policies provide the terms for an individual accepted article.

Submission and editorial decisions

Submit manuscripts through the QIC submission system (OJS). Authors must follow the author guidance and publication ethics policies, provide accurate information, and secure the necessary author approvals and permissions.

Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Submission or an invitation to submit does not guarantee acceptance. Editorial decisions remain independent of fees and payment arrangements.

Charges and payment

The standard article processing charge (APC) is USD 2,950 per accepted article, payable only after formal acceptance. The APC is waived for invited submissions.

The editorial office provides payment instructions and the applicable due date in the official notification and invoice. Before paying, check the manuscript reference, payer details, currency and amount. If any detail is incorrect or you need to discuss the payment deadline, contact the editorial office.

Use the payment arrangements specified in that notification. Do not send full card details or passwords by email. The Article charges page describes the charge, the service it supports and the applicable waiver.

Refunds

The APC is normally non-refundable once paid, as payment enables article production to proceed. A later withdrawal, retraction or request for corrections does not by itself entitle the payer to a refund.

A full refund is available for a duplicate payment for the same manuscript, or if the article is not published for reasons attributable to the journal. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

For a refund enquiry, contact the editorial office with the manuscript reference, payment reference and reason for the request. The refund policy on the Article charges page applies. These terms do not limit any statutory rights that apply to the payer.

Publication and reuse

Accepted articles are prepared for open-access publication according to the journal’s publication schedule. Contact the editorial office for information about the production status of an accepted manuscript.

Reuse of an article is governed by the licence stated on that article and the applicable publishing agreement. Licences may differ across the journal’s collection. Corrections, retractions and other changes to the published record follow the publication ethics policies.

Website and external services

Use this website lawfully and do not interfere with its operation. Manuscript submission and payment services operate separately from this website; any terms presented by those services also apply to their use.
